Actually, I wanted to work on my Sixfold entry today so I could finally submit the first part, but... then this idea rushed through my mind, I started looking for a Portal related Papercraft and encountered this. So that's what I've been doing all day long. I think this took overall about 6 or 7 hours, and since it's the very first completed Papercraft of mine... so I am proud of it! If it's not falling apart within the next 24 hours! Ahahaha~
And now I'm spamming your inbox with the result.
Soooo why am I submitting this? Usually, I hate people showing off things just for the means, but first, I made this and not bought it or anything and second, see above. Also, third would be to promote this papercraft. Seriously, this pattern is really well done, so why not saying "thank you" to the guy who made it and shared it with the world? In case you want to give it a try as well, I will link everything properly on the bottom of this description. ;D
I am aware this isn't the best turret done of these, I made plenty of mistakes, but it's actually standing on its own and doesn't look like somebody stomped on it so it's good enough to show you people. (Seriously, how do these people close the body without turning it into mush while glueing it? It's a mystery I will probably never solve...)
Also, put my companion cube on the background because I didn't know what else to put in the background. And sorry for the very crappy quality of these shots, it's already quite late here - so no sunlight, plus my phone's camera just plainly sucks. But since this is just for promotion and is not intended to be a master piece... o3oLINK TIME!
